Privacy
IP addresses you look up are not stored or logged. Your own IP address is used in memory for rate limiting (per day, discarded at midnight UTC) and is not written to disk.
What we store
- If you sign up for a key: your email address, a hash of your key (we cannot read it back), and the daily count of requests made with that key.
- If you click "Upgrade" or "Notify me": an anonymous click counter per plan; and, only if you submit the form, your email address and the plan.
- Total daily request counts without a key, with no identifier.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking cookies, no third-party scripts on this site, no selling or sharing of email addresses. We use Cloudflare to serve the site and API; Cloudflare processes requests as our provider (see its privacy policy).
Notify-me emails are used once, to announce paid plans. Ask for deletion at [email protected].
